The background is a blue butterfly wing and has a sulfide young maiden blowing a trumpet art or horn

The brooch is in very good antique condition. It is marked on the back “Genuine Butterfly Wings Sterling Silver”

The Sterling has not been polished and will only be done so if the new owner requires it to be.

Clasp at the back works as it should and locks. I believe you could easily turn this brooch into a pendant with the addition of a loupe. The front is glass or crystal. The brooch measures 2.5cms by 2.5cms and weighs 6.4gms
