c1920s Sterling Blue Stone Enamel Filigree Pendant & Chain
Art Nouveau Era Sterling Silver Rectangle Shape Filigree pendant with applied enamel leaves in each corner and a centre claw set multi faceted untested blue stone.
Very good antique condition. The pendant is 3cms by 1.5cms. The chain is 49cms or just under 19 inches long. The blue stone is just under 1cm long.
Fabulous necklace that would suit a very discerning buyer. Great for a bride, night wear, day wear or anytime.

White metals were all the rage at this time as was filigree. Jewellery makers used a Rhodium overlay to keep the pieces shiney and bright (Pure Rhodium is too brittle to use in jewellery) Rhodium is the most epensive metal in the world even outranking Platinum and Palladium.
