The necklace is a of a high quality and very well made. It is hallmarked on the back Van Dell (maker 1939-1991) and 12k gf 1/20 again on the clasp of the necklace.
It has three claw set multi faceted blue coloured stones atop rose gold leaves applied to the yellow gold links.
The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition and the clasp works as it should.
It is 40.5cms long and 1.1cms at its widest.
The three blue stones are untested . However, I see no bubbles in them and Van dell was known to use real stones in its designer jewellery. Sold as is.
Great for Bridal Wear or day or evening wear.

I mainly sell Vintage and Antique gold filled jewellery.
VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE GOLD FILLED JEWELLERY IS NOT GOLD PLATED.
Vintage and Antique gold filled items have a solid layer of gold with an inner metal core which provides durability to your item, as gold is a soft metal. Think of it like a sandwich with solid gold on the front and back and an inner metal core made of silver or brass or other metals.
Victorian pieces are generally unmarked for gold content and hallmarking did not originally take place until after 1907. Even after this time the maker could choose to mark either the piece of jewellery or the box that it came in. Antique and Vintage Gold Filled Jewellery is normally 10kt 12kt or 14kt in gold content.
BE AWARE THE ABOVE EXPLANATION IS FOR VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE GOLD FILL JEWELLERY ONLY AND NOT MODERN MASS PRODUCED ITEMS BEING PRODUCED IN CHINA AND MARKETED AND SOLD AS GOLD FILLED.
THEY ARE NOT!!!!
GOLD FILLED JEWELLERY IS A TERM THAT SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE ITEMS THAT WERE MADE IN THE USA WHERE THEY WERE REGULATED FOR GOLD CONTENT WHICH BY LAW CANNOT BE ANY LESS THAN 1/20TH OF SOLID GOLD OF THE PIECE.
MODERN JEWELLERY MASQUERADING AS GOLD FILLED IS USUALLY UNMARKED FOR KARAT WEIGHT AND ITS MAKER IS UNREGULATED. THESE ITEMS ARE CHEAP AND INFERIOR GOLD PLATE.
